The future brings fear and uncertainty as a consequence of global capitalism, consumerism and climate crisis. Lack of belonging and the loss of oneself in the generic environment are the consequences which arise as a result of these phenomena. “Losing my place and losing myself” As a site related issue, on Potsdamer Platz, human workers risk losing their jobs to non-human workers due to the robotization of the area which leads to them asking for mental health care, as a result of high-level anxiety and stress. The number of people struggling with mental health issues is rising, which makes depression and anxiety the diseases of the century. The site becomes an “island of care” in the midst of an “International development” consuming environment. It’s way of “protecting” itself is through camouflage facade, suggesting human withdrawal and offering retreat and shelter for people in need of care. The program is a hybridization of a building-scale infrastructure and a care-centre with healing waters. People in need of care undergo therapy, while recovered people become prospective tutors and community residents.
Machine is creating simulated imitated environment and local cycle, which is a part of a general environmental system.
